Welllll it’s not there because I’ve never tried it. I fell victim to skincare consumerism at 16 anddd long story short neutrogena grapefruit acne wash + someone who had never struggled w acne before + 3 face washes l8r = more breakouts at once than I had ever had in my life up until that point. I’ve had issues w them ever since…8 yrs ago btw. But THEN I went on to damage it even more by trying to clear it up with all of that sh*t…because of course I did!! 🥰🥰 This headline basically sums it up!!
I’m genuinely too scared to try any of the newer stuff like byoma, glow recipe, bubble and stuff like I’ve literally stripped my routine down to the bare bones ever since I started going to the derm HOWEVER 2017-2022 me would’ve tripped over myself running to ulta to buy it while knowing it’d probably fuck my skin UP TOO but not caring because a. adorable packaging and b. the more steps in your routine the merrier!!
…my ex boyfriend LMFAOO 💀 I gave him my bottle after I finally accepted the fact that it was making my skin worse instead of better like every single night I really thought that by washing my face w it again I was going to magically wake up the next morning and see different results than I had been seeing every single morning for the past like 8 months at that point #idiot but yeah! He loooved that stuff and repurchased it over and over and over again. It truly was/prob still is his holy grail
Yes! It was too thick and heavy for my skin, I would always get closed comedomes the next morning. It would sting at times after I applied it and would leave me with this lingering burning feeling and redness on my cheeks and upper lip specifically. Looking back I think it could’ve been because of the ha and/or the ceramides and/or some other ingredient. I’ve gathered that I just have very sensitive skin and any skincare product w even the slightest potential for irritation will irritate it
AM: Vanicream gentle facial cleanser Elta MD 50 spf face sunscreen (the only face sunscreen that doesn’t break me out) PM: Vanicream gentle facial cleanser Aklief gel 0.05% every other night Vanicream moisturizing lotion They have a few diff moisturizers but this ^^^ is the one I use. The one in the bigger pump bottle is too thick for my skin and the daily facial moisturizer has hyaluronic acid and ceramides so I haven’t even bothered trying it because of the reaction I’ve had in the past
Girl fr 😭 my partner complains about his “bad skin” all the time but only got a pimple or two once a month before I put him on a basic routine with cerave cream cleanser and cerave morning/night moisturizer and spf. Meanwhile I have a whole pharmacy in my arsenal and still struggle
