yes actually, ive seen a good handful of ppl sayibg ur just welcoming anyone to ur crib when u have a welcome mat like that

things to keep negative energy out!! welcome mat backwards (i grew up with this being a thing), NEVER leave a seat pulled out because then ur inviting anything to come sit down, always close doors behind you (whatever followed u will be stuck), never put two mirrors facing each other or on opposite sides of the room, use holy water when watching a demonic movie (insidious, quiji, satanic, things like that) even if ur not religious, never have the foot of ur bed face the window

Yes! You should NEVER EVER have anything like that outside of your house. No welcome, come on in, etc. Let’s way more into your space than you think

ive also heard its good to make some noise when u come in ur house or like having one of those bells u strap on ur door cause the sounds supposed to shoo away the bad energy/spirits also 🤔 or some shit like that

i've also heard that cats ward off evil and protect the house and we have one so hopefully my man steve is doing his job but also my keys are super jingley so maybe that's loud enough??

i actually follow most of these! now foot of my bed does face the window but every thing else i do (besides the holy water thing) thank you so much for the welcome mat thing im gonna move it backwards (facing the door right??)
