Can we agree that men and women and others who do these crimes are bad PEOPLE, in general? The punishment should fit the crime, yes, but in a way that either rehabilitates them or keeps them from harming others. Being realistic, these punishments equate to torture, illegal under the Geneva conventions, I believe.
