It’s been about an hour and I’m still mad about the cop who pulled me over this morning bc he said I was tailgating him. I’m not dumb enough to tailgate a sheriff. I don’t tailgate anyone. He was just mad the light would turn yellow while he was under it-

And I’d go through it too. Last I heard that wasn’t against the law. He tried suggesting I was on my phone when I wasn’t. I told him I didn’t know I www tailgating bc I didn’t and he went “… okay 😐” took my license and registration and gave me a warning 🙄

You’re missing the point. We were both under the light as it turned yellow. He tried suggesting I was on my phone and distracted and told me if he had to slam on his breaks I would have hit him which isn’t true. I was paying attention and had enough room to react. Point is he was just upset I drove through yellow lights

no I don’t think I’m missing the point but I’m glad you got a warning

There’s no reason for me to get more than a warning.

I need to say this bc I still don’t think you’re getting my point. There was space between us. Yes I went through the yellow after it turned yellow. But only because I could do so while keeping decent between us. Just because it didn’t look like enough space to him in his truck doesn’t mean I was as close as he thought and doesn’t mean he’s allowed to suggest I was on my phone or that I was lying about not thinking I was tailgating

If you were both in an intersection when the light turned yellow, you were probably too close, especially on a cop.

it still sounds like you were tailgating lmao but anyway, why does it matter? you didn’t even get a ticket. It’s not on your record at all, just move on.

I’m sure you’ve moved on immediately from everything that’s ever happened in your life, right? Considering that’s what you’re telling me to do so you must practice what you preach always

They’re such tiny intersections it’s light after light. Idk why you think you’d know better than me how close I was to him. I had more than enough room to break. I was as close to him as he got behind me and I’m sure the car he pulled in front of was even closer to him than I was

I mean I usually view it as a relief when the police pulls you over and you get to leave with your life and no ticket, but good luck I guess

Girl why do you wanna play the victim in a situation you have nothing to do with 💀 no one’s life was at risk. I’m allowed to be mad that he unnecessarily pulled me over. I don’t need permission from Ms Perfect over here
