i’ve been working in childcare for 4 years and in a hospital for 1 year and i fear i’m still easily grossed out when dealing with their bodily fluids. i’ve gotten better at powering through it but im still like omg ew 😭

i could never work in a hospital or deal with gross adult bodily fluids, but from a kid it’s whatever to me. poop, pee, snot, saliva, puke, even small amounts of blood idec i just clean it up, wash my hands, and go on abt my day LOL

my bf came to work with me one day because he was needing volunteer hours and he goes “it smells back here, how do you deal with it?” (the dirty laundry room) and i looked at him like “what smell🙂” 💔

yeah it’s 100% more tolerable from a kid than an adult, but i’m still icked out in general lol. when it comes to saliva, puke, and blood i’m fine (only with the kids) but i just cannot deal with poop or pee in general😭
