Idek how to describe its like they just encouraged us to be independent while still being there for us (their very present parents) so we got to develop a good sense of self while also having them to lean on but they didn’t coddle us either if that makes sense. And they really preached self respect while somehow also keeping us grounded and preaching to respect others as well. And all that combined kinda just culminated into a really good internal foundation so I never feel like I need the
