Y’all ain’t helping 🤣 making me wanna do this now. It sounds so much fun and I’m not gonna lie. I’ve always been interested in Chinese culture and his history since I was seven or eight years old. I’m just really nervous for the cultural shock. while I don’t love everything about America, I grew up here, my whole life. i’d miss the little things i think like going to homegoods or smoking a j on the beach.
going to a new country doesn’t mean you can never come back to america and experience the normalcy you love! but if nothing is truly stopping you from such an amazing experience genuinely i say go for it! why not!? it does sound very scary but think about all the awesome new things you will experience and all the stories you can share later in life :) sounds like some epic lore to me
me and my three cats heading to china rn. honestly, I would love to because I hated what I got my degree in. Since AI has been taking over, it started to take over my line of work the last 4 to 5 years. I’ve been in college since 2019 so if I was aware of this beforehand, I never would’ve continued in my major. honestly, I may look into it. I can pay off my loans a lot quicker which is good.
dang that’s so sad that ai is taking over especially when you started before it was really developed, but i hope you can find joy in pursuing a new path! sounds much better than staying in a position that you could be replaced in. good luck to you and your kitties 😄 i have cats too, i bet they will be a great emotional support throughout the process if you decide to go. you’ll never be alone 😋
