I have never stopped. Will never stop. And just to ensure they remember I’m their sweet child, I treat them to dinner every so often so they pay for my next fifty meals again

Ngl I’m 26 and my parents still voluntarily pay for any dinner they take me out to or cook themselves bc I’m broke and they spoil me the few times I get to see them. But my fiancé’s family has always had the tradition of adults in the family contributing something whether that’s a dessert, cocktail, entree, etc.
