Try Kohl’s! They have a lot of really cute and stylish business casual tops for like $25. I get all my work clothes from there (or H&M if Kohl’s doesn’t have anything)

i steal old ann taylor from my mom and their clearance can be good lowkey. however i am more limited in options since i need petite, i can get away with some things in casual clothes but not business casual where things tend to be longer

Damn. They’re the cheaper option but you can always try the either the regular or outlet version of J Crew, Talbots, Loft, etc. They’re not “old lady stores” per say but they definitely cater to an older customer base

I figured, calling it old lady just felt like the wrong phrase to me considering these stores are more “adults who need corporate work clothes” rather than catering to teens and young adults

Aww sorry you didn’t find any cute shirts :( it can def be hit or miss sometimes. You have to check what they have every few months because I swear sometimes they have the cutest tops but you just have to go at the right time
