Right but you don’t typically need to get tested if you’re a male or female that’s something your parents and you know unless they hide it from you

They didn’t. It’s a rare condition where you can be born as a boy but still have the genetics of a girl

XX Male Syndrome. It’s like. It makes sense because I just didn’t have a “normal” puberty and my body just doesn’t work like other boys. Mostly in the sense that I do NOT grow facial/body hair, nor did my voice ever really drop. That and like my naturally really soft skin. I always just assumed I got lucky with the growing up roulette, but no it’s a genuine thing. I’m a fucking gender anomaly LOL

It’s not flattering on most. I’ve always kinda been scared of men ESPECIALLY due to how creepy a lot of them look. Besides, it makes it MUCH easier to do makeup

actually 99% of people don’t get karyotyped, it’s surprisingly common for people to have different chromosomes than expected (compared to intersex population percentages, since the medical definition of “intersex” doesn’t include everyone with differing chromosomes or development)

a lot of chromosomal stuff is too minor to pathologize—or even notice in the first place—so many people who we (as laymen) think of as “intersex” are medically considered to be endosex

a ton of people assume that doctors magically know their chromosomes or that chromosomes have to do with ASAB in any capacity, which shows how far common assumptions can be from truth lol
