What birth control are the girls taking cause I my implant needs replaced but low key not a fan of how much it messes with my hormones. Any recs?

i just take the pill because the idea of being stuck with an implant or iud if it doesn't work with my body scares me

i’m on the patch, it only messed with my hormones while adjusting to it but still wasn’t super bad, and has been a savior for my period (it used to last over a week and really bad cramps now its 5 days max, light, little to no cramps)

nuvaring has seemed to have less side effects than other stuff and i don’t have to think about it but less invasive obv than implant/iud

& i skip my placebo pills only to take them every 3 months for 4 "periods" a year

I’ve always had bad mood swings and I don’t know if it’s because I have to get it replaced soon or if something else has changed but it’s turned more into depressive/manic episodes

Also just always had bad headaches and gained weight after getting it initially
