i quit my job yesterday. its almost noon. i took my dog out on a walk, ate some breakfast had a couple mimosas and im in bed. nothing to do nowhere to be about to take a nap…this is what being unemployed feels like? i should have done this ages ago!

as someone who’s been job hunting for more than a year atp, there’s nothing i recommend more than submitting a few applications a day unless you’re 100% sure you can get hired as soon as you’re ready for a job again. like 75% of the jobs online are fake (look up ghost jobs) and employers are less and less willing to do things like provide training and experience no matter your other qualifications. it fucking sucks out here once you need money again

yeah im alr started 😭 i technically didnt formally quit so i can get unemployment, but im also moving to a new city so ive been calling and applying EVERYWHERE
