Tbh furries tend to be some of the nicest most accepting people out there lol. Like they already know people think they’re freaks and yet STILL own who they are. Just proves that they’re comfortable with themselves and therefore other people’s ‘flaws’ or ‘quirks’. Not even a furry but I’ve been friends with a few and genuinely they’re the people I could always count on. AND could freak out with like NOOO shame about AO3 history or swapping HCs like girl.

Only thing I would say is to make sure he isn’t into weird stuff!!! Maybe ask if it’s okay to see his twitter. If he’s just a reg furry then it should be no probsss if he’s sketchy abt it maybe there’s weird junk there that you should stay away from lol!

defo just ask your partner about it and make sure there's ground rules and a safeword early. if they say no or get weirded out it is okay to ghost them from embarrassment. (I miss her)

being comfortable with roleplay is kind of the only way to make it less awkward at first, cause you have to be willing to do some things that will sound cringy until you settle into what feels right
