It can lead people down an anti-science purity culture line. Some people are gullible and there’s a lot of misinformation surrounding whole foods, like promoting raw milk. There’s a thin line between people promoting eating healthy/wearing natural clothes and people promoting anti-science anti-food safety measures
Pipelines start with perfectly reasonable things. The danger is that those topics open you up to more radical and less grounded ideas. For example, whole food>anti-processed food>raw milk>anti-FDA/CDC/WHO>anti-vax. It’s not that eating better is bad, just that you need to be aware of content you’re going to exposed to from creators and mutuals in the space. That’s how pipelines work. You trust the initial space while you slip farther down the pipeline.
My thought process was like ‘male gaze’ generally just confused I don’t think it’s initially the start of a pipeline. The gaze. Yes. The healthy standards I choose to live by? No? In turn it makes better inside and out and I don’t want to ruin my skin with polyester. Yes I have noticed real differences in fibers on my skin and clarity of it. Other than that the best guess I had for fibers would be like mega corps ruining the planet but polyester does that faster ?
