I think he’s just confused 😭He said that ice’s tactics are over the top and can be extreme but you don’t fire the security guard who protects the diamond store just because he snarls at hoodlums.

Obviously he doesn’t defend those examples, I think. He just said ICE is important because, like our law enforcement, they protect people even if they can be extreme in their tactics because we just dont see what they’re dealing with because they’re doing their job

They aren’t doing their job tho. Shooting a woman in the face on the street she lived on isn’t their job. Losing 1,200 immigrants from a hellhole isn’t their job. These rejected police officers aren’t protecting anyone and if he can sit there and say those things to these points and their current actions, he supports them. Roaches for raid

I mean I consider myself center but that usually doesn’t take away your ability to know when power is being abused lol it’s one thing to say they have a place in government but it’s another to watch what just happened and go out of your way to defend it. because I’m assuming this was said after the recent events

”moderate” in the United States IS conservative. The US has very warped views of what is actually left and right, which is why you see very basic left leaning/humanitarian politics labeled radical communism.
