It would technically be breach of contract. Low probability that he actually pursues it, but it’s not worth giving him a reason to harass you or even just to have to stress about him pursuing it. All he needs to pursue it would be pictures where the deal was proposed and you agreed. Even a 👍 is enough to establish a contract and people can take pictures of the screen with a second device.

I mean you’re getting very much too technical with it. There’s no written contract that you’d be legally bound to and it would be strange for him to contact police over it but I’d suggest not doing this if he’s offering you a lot of money cause it is a bit messed up

Y’all are confusing a possible contract dispute with an automatic breach of contract 😭 A thumbs-up isn’t universally binding just because somebody offered money. Contract formation depends on the actual terms, acceptance, consideration, and intent to agree. And screenshots don’t automatically prove a winning lawsuit. Saying someone could potentially have a claim is very different from saying they’re legally obligated to send you intimate pictures because you offered to pay. 💀 and even then…..

Didn’t say anything about him winning. I said he would have enough to sue, which would be a major pain in the ass for OP.

It’s not common tho… at all. He would still need to establish an enforceable agreement and a valid basis for relief. Plus, we’re talking about students… I would hope he wouldn’t try to embarrass himself further by trying to take action and then failing…. The most and rare case would be you’d have to give the money back but even then… its not likely to win or would be thrown out

You can “sue” for the littlest things doesn’t mean anything will happen 🤧

And the court can immediately dismiss them if it’s bogus. If there’s a real claim, like “this person gave me their cashapp and accepted funds but never held their end of the bargain,” it actually gets heard and becomes a pain in the ass for OP, who will likely need a lawyer to navigate it. Like I already said in my original comment, the probability that this guy actually pursues it is low (whether he’s a student or not), but it’s just not worth it.

this is how I feel, I don’t want to risk it bc honestly aggravated men can be dangerous and I don’t want to risk him finding where I live, finding my school or personal socials, starting a harassment campaign, etc. Small benefit of maybe a hundred bucks and a worse risk of all of that

Not unethical to pay. And you are hurting women whose job is to give nudes or nsfw content for money. If everyone scams, then no one will trust them either. That’s a terrible suggestion

No it’s not. Many women give nudes for money. That is not a scam. You are putting down a line of work by pretending that it’s not ethical?
