Why the hell do jeans brands not make regular jeans shorts for big-hipped women? I’m sick of my camel toe getting JORT FLOSSED. I don’t want high-waisted. I just want normal jean shorts that fit a normal body and not a toothpick.

I’ve honestly given up on jeans shorts, I mostly just wear linen pants, skirts, or dresses in the summer & occasionally like workout shorts depending on the activity

that’s fair, I wonder if a curvy size jean skort would be a good alternative? Otherwise if you find a pair that fits your hips but not your waist you could also hem it? But it’s annoying that we have to put in extra effort

Maybe but I’m not curvy😅 I’m literally just a normal body and not underweight

How am I body shaming-?

Brands expect women to be underweight. This is easy to see in VS ads and in jeans sizing. In acknowledging that I’m not going to make that “the new normal”. I think we all know that women’s clothes are not made to fit healthy bodies.

You’re weird as fuck for coming in here and accusing me of something like that when you 1) don’t even know me. And 2) clearly don’t understand the fashion industry in relation to societal influence and the patriarchy.

“i just want jean shorts that fit a normal body and not a toothpick” insinuating that “toothpick” (already an insulting term) aren’t normal. are you dense?

so called “toothpick” bodies can be perfectly normal. i am very skinny and also healthy. insinuating that that isn’t a normal body is just strange behavior

I was referring to the clearly unhealthy body standard that the fashion industry pushes

No they aren’t. I’m talking about STARVED people. I think you’re the dense one here

I mean curvy sizes the way Aritzia or Hollister does it where the waist is smaller & hip slightly bigger
