I also think, moreso highlighted by this post, that sometimes you have to engage with things you don’t have a passion for to be a decent member of society. No one is asking people to love politics, but they are asking people to make an informed vote. I’m sick of whiney people acting like their nonchalance is an excuse for the behavior when people do things they don’t care to do every day to make society functional.

It really isn’t difficult to look at a politician, see how various communities respond to them, and learn something new. It takes very little effort compared to other day-to-day things.

There are SO MANY resources out there that try to make candidate information & voter registration information more accessible 😭 Probably not just for the unmotivated voter, but also the far less privileged voter. So for that unmotivated voter to complain about the effort it would take I lose my mind

Lmfao, I do watch DWTS, but confession: I am not a DWTS voter 😭 I also don’t really have any complaints tho I love everyone!
