yik yak when the first brought it back was completely different. When they switched to this format it felt like they were trying to turn it into Reddit

I will say tho Reddit can be more helpful than there. Some communities can just be very mean. Ex I asked for help in a snow sports community and had half the people telling me I was an idiot for not shopping in person at a store while trying to select new gear (even though I was and said I was) and half the people trying to sincerely help me figure out the problem so 🤷‍♀️
