No. In fact if I were you I’d probably be mean and learn everything about history since the dawn of time or drop her because I don’t like chameleons

Months ago she didn’t care about baseball but all of a sudden became obsessed with the stats, now has an acquired taste in 70s music etc like it gives pick me vibes and it’s 24/7 but i hate that i feel this way lol

Well it’s like my great grandfather brought home a soldiers sword when he fought in Japan (it’s now in a museum) so it rlly ticked me off that she thought she knew more even tho it sounds dumb

Totally valid how you feel. I think she’s just building off what ever men say they like. Which is unfortunate but it happens.

It’s not dumb. It’s knowing how she is and then watching her fit a thousand pairs of shoes for a man and that bleeds into YOUR friendship in very irritating ways. Which is pretty much a dick move

Very true I’m probably annoying in ways I don’t even realize too but she used to be herself. now she’s just becoming so male centered bc she’s dating again

Yeah truly I don’t think she’s meaning to be this way but she only recently started getting more male attention so maybe it’s just getting to her head? I had this phase too but when I was younger… She started watching sex in the city this summer and went haywire

I’d say either mention this to her or unfortunately wait for it to run its course

We were having wine one night and I went “omg ur soww differennttt” being kinda petty and she thought I was being serious. Like validating that she’s not like other girls. and somehow this male dream girl bc she likes dad rock and college athletics.

Yeah girl I don’t mean “you’re different”😭😂😂. I mean more “you are making whatever your current man’s interest is your whole personality and it’s weird. Can you just be real with me and like that with him?”

But the story just thickens and gets a little bit crazier
