This is the trope I’m referring to. media often represents the inhabitants of deserts as crazed or barbaric. There are slurs based off it like sand *n word & many referring to the indigenous Americans & Mexicans. It’s ok to dislike a climate but not to spread gross tropes like it’s a barren wasteland when the desert is beautiful as are the civilizations based in it
