Yeah tbh I don’t think it’s male/female, I think all generations, all people experience phases of loneliness. For example, older generations didn’t talk about problems. Younger ones are fed crap on screens. We’re all just trying to have friends and be happy, and when it doesn’t work out we get sad. It’s not necessarily gendered, it’s just a human experience. Not trying to minimize other people’s situations though, there’s definitely correlations and statistics, but it’s also common
Very true. I find it crazy how some guys don’t have a clue about what’s going on in their “best friends” lives and don’t really seem to want to know either which that behavior ends up bleeding in their own romantic relationships. They expect others to do all the work to uphold the relationship
Men have always been unable to take rejection and have been killing women from it forever and why are we talking about what they do when they are lonely and not why they are doing it? Why are you implying that we should be with them so they stay complicit and not murderous even if they suck? Why do we have to suffer why can’t they just get better?
This picture is exactly what I think of when men talk about not being able to share their feelings. Okay maybe ONE person in your life made fun of u for something, and it sucks, but that’s life. It’s always men pushing the narrative that they’re not supposed to open up. Women generally want the men in their lives to confide in them, whether it’s a romantic relationship or a just a friendship.
It’s a fine opinion and I agree with it, I am only saying that there are incredibly few spaces that this would ever be considered a hot take in. if you go to a super religious institution or something, then sure, this is hot and different. not everything is a hot take and that’s ok
