the ONLY way I’d even consider considering this to be anything other than straight bs is if he didn’t know how to vote and fully intended to vote for trump and marked him on the ballot and he thinks he fucked up anything on his ballot so he doesn’t know if it counted. but even then, that would still mean he intended to vote for him, meaning bye af
