OH MY GOD THANK YOU!! my hottest take is that gendering kids is just forcing them to conform to YOUR idea of what they should be, and that NOT gendering them best helps them grow into who they’re meant to be. if I ever give my kids a very masculine/feminine name, I’m giving them an androgynous middle name so they can go by it if they want
