Someone made a post a WHILE back (some months?) basically saying that releasing balloons when a loved one dies is still harmful to the environment (I forget how it was phrased, but it was essentially, still grieve, but can we not grieve at the expense of littering) and some chick went off the in the comments “who cares about animals who are gonna die in a week, if I wanna release balloons—“
Well it started a massive wall of comments arguing and the chick who went off reblogged the post pretending to be a third party who put up a poll because they “wanted to know who was winning.” And the original poster advocating against the balloons being released blocked her and then realized that the poll disappeared too, basically confirming it was the angry chick.
It was something like a girl said “I hope meet someone who can save me from the Fate of Ophelia” and I reposted (as someone who graduated Magna Cum Laude with a theater degree and directed Hamlet) “Hey, not to be a hater, but Ophelia’s downfall came from having to rely on men, so if she could have lived without men she would’ve survived in the play”
And this girl double down disagreeing with me, said Taylor Swift actually understood Hamlet REALLY well, that she almost has a lit degree, TS had wanted to k*ll herself (based on OP’s interpretation of older TS songs), and referred to OP’s post in third person. I can’t see it now since I blocked them and it’s probably disappeared now in girl talk, but if you scroll down far enough you might see the argument since I never deleted my post and I don’t think she deleted hers
