i understand ariana grande’s potential ed relapse is concerning but overly talking about how ur disgusted of her clavicles or sternum is very much body shame in the way that girls who watch those videos will learn shame for having those features. some ppl

and to preface, i 100% know and understand fat shaming is worse than “skinny shaming”. but rly imagine everyone on tt making thousands of videos talking ab how they’re disgusted ab how someone gained an insane amt of weight and picking apart certain features of their body and saying it makes them revolted. right

you’re so right. i think overall being mean about someone’s body is just really unnecessary and fucked up, idc if they’re fat or skinny or what 😭 if she is dealing with health problems, it’s not right for the whole world to be commenting on that either! i’m not a fan of hers, but this behavior from the masses is bad for all women and girls everywhere

I agree, it’s also difficult now bc I remember when my ED started and it was because I wanted to look like people I saw who looked like Ariana now basically… I know the tabloids were always bad but my mom never struggled with an eating disorder and I have to partially credit that with her teen years being BEFORE the internet 😭 she never had to compare herself to celebrities growing up. Tangent ig but I think it’s relevant bc our culture of comparison and body critique is so toxic and I wish we-

naturally have bodies that don’t store a lot of fat in their chest and rib cage area that cause the bones to look protruded. but also like i can understand acknowledging yes she probably has an ed, yes she looks malnourished. but everyone is taking this a step too far and teaching body shame

I'm an adult now but it's crazy how people still act just bc I'm small. Like no you can not just grab my wrist because it looks tiny. That is weird. No you can not just pick me up to move me. Walk around or ask me to move like a normal person
