Why are you against plan b? Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I'm curious. The truth is no one in these comments can actually tell you that you will be okay or won't get pregnant. They can help guess your changes but that's it. I'm not shaming unprotected sex hell I don't use condoms but you also need to be smart going forward. If you don't want a baby, you should be on birth control or using condoms. Using no form of birth control when you don't want to get pregnant . . .

Pregnancy is a possibility here, as precum can contain sperm. The only thing you can do now is take Plan B, take a pregnancy test 21 days after sex, and get a protection plan in place for next time. Whatever you’re scared of Plan B for, it will be easier on your body than an unwanted pregnancy. The sooner you can take it, the better.

Take a plan B or roll the dice on pregnancy. Or get an iud put in today. Those are really your only options. I took a plan B and had basically no side effects whatsoever.

Firstly, don’t worry too much!! These comments are probably stressing you out beyond belief. My first pregnancy scare we had done it the day I was supposed to start and then my period was a week and a half late!! All because I was stressing so much!

It’s quite hard to get pregnant technically. Has to be the right day, on the right month. If you arent ovulating rn you’re likely perfectly fine. Even when youre ovulating it lowk has to be peak unless ur like fertile as can mf be

Honestly, I’m not on birth control and my bf cums in me all the time. It’s been 9 months and I’m still not pregnant. Just don’t do it when you’re ovulating. I track my period with the app STARDUST. I’m not saying that’ll work for everyone but it’s worked for me.

Plan B is different than birth control, birth control is a hormone pill, plan b is for emergencies like this. If you don't take one you will be at much higher risk of pregnancy.

probably not. if he finished in you, which most of the time men have no clue if they did or not. did you use a condom? if not you would have known when he came because he would've pulled out. it would've been on the sheets or on you. if you don't want help, don't say you do

Yeah but the changes of being pregnant when ur not ovulating is hard asf. Grantedddd sperm can live inside u for like what? Five days to a week or smth? Idk. I’m not in this predicament so I’m a lil rusty on my facts😭 most women stress abt it too hard tho, then wonder why their period is late whether it’s pregnancy or not and I’m like babe it’s your STRESS

If she’s in fertile days tho then there’s risk so she should take plan b but if not nah it’s fine

Anonymous replying to -> #3 9w

Totally. If someone is against plan b tho, which is totally okay, everyone has different opinions, it’s important to note getting pregnant from precum is INCREDDDDDIBLY low ON TOP of possibly not ovulating etc. but it’s good for everyone to be aware of their options and the comments on this post are majority right so. OP should do whatever feels right for them, seems plan b is out of the equation and possibly too late anyway🤷‍♀️

my period is five days away is it too late to take plan b??

upvote 1 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> OP 9w

Most likely. If your period was week one of the month, your ovulation would be week 3 ish. Precum can exist in you for 5 days, sooo likely… but still a small chance (20-25%) of getting pregnant while ovulating anyway, and an even smaller chance with JUST precum. There is no zero % chance when having sex in general, but stress will only delay your period more. Don’t stress, you’ll be fine. Just monitor yourself and maybe look into getting on birth control or some form on contraceptives

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> OP 9w

Based on your previous comment saying y’all had sex on the 14th, yes, planb only works within a 24-48 hour timespan. If your period is still 5 days out, just relax. Only begin to wonder when it’s like a week passed. Stress can delay it, sometime even sex can delay it. Cycles are funny but any new thing for your body can delay it

Is just not very responsible of you. That's fine it happened now all you can do is be smarter moving forward. Frankly your best shot right now is plan b. It's very safe and pretty accessible through planned parenthood or similar programs. Or make the guy buy it. I think what's worse than plan b would be having to get an abortion if it turns out you are pregnant. If you know you don't want a baby right now why would you risk waiting it out when you could handle it right now.

I think if you do this and feel responsible about your timing that's fine do that at your own risk but statistically speaking it's not a very effective method of bc and I don't think we should be promoting this to others. Like I'm very to each their own but I do think a big part of this is that you and ur bf are simply getting lucky a lot too. Tracking ovulation isn't always as easy or reliable as people make it seems

Ok. Why didn't you take it then out of curiosity? I mean now yeah you're kinda stuck waiting and now if you are pregnant you'll just have to get an abortion

Anonymous replying to -> OP 9w

Not really sure what you wanted help with then? Just reassurance? But yeah I'm not going to reassure you because that would be lying to you. This was not ur best move and pregnancy is a possibility. I hope you're not and that this is just a scare that you can learn from but I'm not gonna play with you. You could absolutely be pregnant right now
