i haven’t spoken to my dad since like 2021-2022 and it’s been incredible. i’m in a similar situation where i felt a little bad bc he had no one else, but i reminded myself that he’s the reason he has no one.

i have! it was also with my father, i had to stay in contact until i got a job/my own insurance but i haven’t spoken to him in like 4 months now and it’s been very very nice

Same I’m off his insurance soon. My problem is just my mom like she hasn’t had enough money for years to move out but we’re just over it.
