im learning french because of my boyfriends family and it being their main language, but i have a speech impediment and cant say the letter R in the way i need to say it what do i do
I’m also learning french and learning the R is the hardest that ppl get speech therapists for it. I would probably tell them “hey, I am learning the language but have found it’s hard to say the R. I hope it doesn’t make me seem un genuine or hinder our ability to communicate.”

My school pitched us an app called “Mango” you can get it for free with a library card if they accept it in your area. It’s also of speaking back and forth. But I’ve found it helpful for my style of learning
