Scheduling a doctor’s appointment tomorrow to make sure my ex that cheated on me didn’t give me herpes. I’ve never been more scared in my entire life. Fml. If you’re going to cheat, just break up with your partner instead of risking their health.

I have a friend who got herpes from a hookup who lied and said he was clean. It definitely sucks but is very much a manageable condition and i promise if your friends/loved ones really love and care about you they won’t look at you any differently

I was with him for years up until a few months ago and I haven’t been with anyone since him. And getting blisters on your vagina isn’t just a normal thing to randomly pop up

oh no i’m sorry girl. As someone who was born with herpes I will say it is not the end of the world although I know obviously it’s a shock and disappointment. I hope it comes back negative but if it doesn’t just know with proper treatment and care you will be able to date and have sex without having it affect you 💕

my friend who contracted it during sex is on medication and has been able to hook up as she pleases without it being an issue for her. Remember also that it’s your business and you don’t have to disclose it to anyone who you aren’t considering having sex with. Herpes is so much more common than u think and people think it’s such a dirty thing but you can get it without even having sex it’s that normal

As someone given it by a man that lied that he didn’t have it, if he did give it to you, it is manageable and you can still date and have a sex life
