So true but I’m having a hard time accepting that. He’s my first boyfriend (I met him off hinge 2.5 months ago) and I think I got too excited about him liking me so I forced myself to like him and lowered my standards (all without really realizing, I wasn’t trying to lead him on). Now idk how to approach it all

Tbh tho it doesn’t seem like you are ready to date if you’re forcing yourself to like people. I did the same and it’s better to end it when you realize. If you continue dating him after this realization then it would be leading him on
