yeah. i was the ONLY barista on shift and we only had ONE cook so 2 people running an entire restaurant and you people saw that and still decided it was a good idea to eat there. assholes.

I have a desk job and you didn’t earn shit. People with labor intensive jobs deserved that day off bc of the people who fought for it. Glad to know you’re a pr!ck tho

what a fucking asshole. you gonna give me the money to get that degree? you know how expensive college is right? some people dream of being a geneticist but end up as a line cook/barista cuz they can’t afford more school past high school. it’s not my fault higher education is so expensive. you obviously have a brain if you got that degree so let’s use it!

Bro you’re weird as fuck. You’re not special for having to work and 10 hours isn’t even that long compared to jobs where they work on their feet. Also soooo many people pay for themselves to go to school, myself included. You’re not special and this attitude towards another human who just wanted their company to give them the literal day you’re supposed to have off off. This attitude is weird and screams insecurity

you’re lucky enough to be able to do that. i do in fact work 10 hour shifts. i also have to pay rent and bills and feed myself too. i’d love to go to college someday if i genuinely could afford it. but being lucky enough to be as you are doesn’t give you the right to shit on people who have more struggles or something like think bro

jeez it shows u are not educated. confused where i said u need to suffer? literally said it was ur bosses fault for scheduling 2 ppl ON A HOLIDAY KNOWING ITS GONNA BE BUSY. UR BOSSES FAULT REGARDLESS, NOT the people who didn’t get a say in weather or not they had off work. Like I said AGAIN, I had a labor intense job where i didn’t even get christmas eve off, but worked, saved, and now earning a degree which allows me to have the job I have so I DID WORK FOR MY MF DAY OFF. STILL WORKING FOR IT.

i’m glad you were able to afford that! some of us can’t and are doing everything we can to not be homeless! hope this helps! not everyone has the same circumstances as you. just be happy yours were good enough to get you to where you are. stay home on labor day so you don’t make us who don’t have those circumstances suffer.
