thinking about how i had to go to the er once for dehydration after my coaches restricted water as punishment and it was lowkey crazy bro all my limbs went completely numb and it was so so so unbelievably cold and i could not stay conscious

every time my parents tried to help me stand up i just passed out again and they had to just leave me on the floor till the ambulance got here and they tried like 8 times to give me iv fluids but couldn’t find the vein at all so they had to get me down the stairs and into the ambulance in some funky ass stair wheelchair

then they got me in there and i blinked and suddenly was in a bed in a room 💀 i passed out and stayed out for like the entire ride bro i opened my eyes once as we went thru a door i think? then when i woke up and finally stayed up no more passing out after that i was in the bed

they ended up giving me fluids thru my wrist i think? but even when hydrated my arms are a very hard poke it usually takes them several tries to find my veins. one time for a routine bloodwork draw i got stuck in each arm and wrist twice! i was very unhappy. another time the chair i was in fell backwards while the needle was still in my arm lmao
