I literally just saw a post that was like “I can deal with faerie smut but the author having CRYSTALS on her desk? now THAT is where i draw the line” straight up—i don’t get religion.

As a Christian who likes fairies smut If my author doesn’t have crystals on her desk then I automatically assume it will be garbage. Christians write bland smut. “Get on your knees And pray—“ PACK IT UP CATHERINE

I just don’t understand how people read a fantasy novel, with witches as characters, and faerie smut as the primary appeal, and are then like “wow, i might have to distance myself from this franchise” over literal rocks. lmao
