I think that we are forgetting that the original post said that people are telling their kids to look for a black woman when they need help. Ofc, kids are vulnerable and need help. Is it black women’s jobs to take care of your kids? Google mammification
Regardless of anyone’s race, if you deny a child in need of help, you’re a POS. That being said, directing your children toward a specific race for help is weird, don’t do that sh!t

Did you read my post? I very clearly stated that it’s wrong and advised people against doing that? I’m more focused on the refusal to help a child

They don’t care to learn anything about our history because it does not affect them.

Right and people are clowning you bc it’s ridiculous to focus on this hypothetical child rather than the actual black woman on here expressing her grievances

In which I also mentioned as a weird thing to do. I agree with you, I think it’s wrong. I’m just saying an innocent child shouldn’t suffer because of it. We can change that narrative without children suffering

Ok cool no child deserves to suffer, it’s also not black womens jobs to be there for that suffering child. The end lol you don’t have to “all lives matter” the situation

Seriously because as a black woman I looked at the post I quoted and rolled my eyes lol

That’s not the topic as a whole and the fact that you even felt like it was appropriate to do this after she expressed the racist connotations to another race of people going to look for a black woman (a group of people that is demonized 24/7 which is a contradiction within itself) truly shows that the conversation shouldn’t have been posted in here in the first place. I feel so bad for the OG commentator and I know how she feels and this is why spaces for women of color need to exist.

she’s saying that black women don’t have to be there for this hypothetical kid. and that this conversation was bigger than “well everyone needs to help kids”, and that’s what you aren’t getting

people telling you that you only focused on one part of the conversation even though you acknowledged both when they’re the ones focusing on the one part of the conversation they’re accusing you of focusing on is funny as fuck. two things can be true at once; kids should be helped regardless of race, and people shouldn’t direct their kids to a specific race for help.

or maybe it’s weird to be calling people pieces of shit over a hypothetical child. obviously if there’s a child in need, we are going to help. the point of the original post was to call out mammification. it does not take high reading comprehension to understand the point the original poster was trying to convey. that leads me to believe that the people upset either have low comprehension, no historical knowledge, or have racist biases.
