I wanna get it but my parents every so often will try to talk me out of it cause they’re that scared for me. I just hate how bad my vision is without contacts

My mum had it done. Thankfully no pain, but her vision has since deteriorated a fair bit and she’s about back to where she was prior. It took about two decades but, meh. I’ll stick with squinting and contacts.

i’ve gotten lasik actually! and it was probably the best decision i’ve ever made, i love being able to wake up in the morning and just *see*, i got the surgery about 5 years ago now and never had any pains from it. still it’s absolutely up to you and what you feel comfortable with doing but i just wanted to share my experience with it ❤️

I would bc I already have eye pain But I have retina issues and i don’t want to make them worse
