I started mood stabilizers this week, and ik it’s like an over time thing. But I didn’t sleep, I feel so lonely, yet I don’t feel like I used to. I normally would’ve cried, it’s been a week and I just can’t. Lord

I’m on a mood stabilizer too and have been for a couple months now. The numb feeling is still kind of around but it’s easier to express emotions when it was hard to when I started the med. Try taking it at a different time if it’s affecting sleep. I’ll still often have the feeling of wanting to cry but I can’t but I prefer that over crying to the point I can’t breathe lol

I get that, can I ask what time h take it? I take it at 10:30 bc ik im always awake then, but i have severe insomnia. I’ve been losing my mind the past few months and finally am giving this a try

I usually take mine around 8 cuz that’s when I get up for work. I think give it a little longer to see if your sleep will get regulated again and if it doesn’t talk to your psychiatrist. Usually they say give it 2-4 weeks
