they care because they are controlled by religion and society! and have been taught to not think for themselves and for their higher power lowkey.

As someone who is pro choice they care because they are equating a fetus to a person. And while we all know that that doesn’t make sense scientifically it doesn’t make too much more sense socially since they don’t seem to care about people unless they’re straight cisgender middle to upper class white people who hold the same political views as them. And the people in power care about abortion because if they restrict that form of healthcare it’ll help keep women and lower class families down.
