I’m struggling rn cuz I kind of miss this guy I ended things with. I ended it bc he said something bigoted and I can’t be with someone like that in any regard, even if it’s casual. I don’t know why I still miss him

Because besides that, you feel that he gets you, it’s a hard feeling to ignore. Just stick with your values and keep yourself busy!

He said, “just cause someone says the n-word doesn’t mean they’re racist. A lot of people where I’m from say it and they’re not racist” and I said, “no, actually it is” and when he tried to argue with me I ended the conversation and never reached out to him again

Im not black, I’m half-white/ half-Mexican, but I don’t need to be black to offended by him saying that and I personally would find it racist of me if a guy saying slurs wasn’t a dealbreaker for me to end things
