Because people with that bad of allergies will have minimal to no reaction with a pill or honestly even blowing your nose. I promise it's worse for them to deal with it then it is for you to hear it

I feel that’s mostly them having tried medicines that just don’t work. Some general meds just don’t do it for some individuals
