context: i’m a ginger, allegedly gold looks better for gingers idk. i used to bleach my hair and ive always had kind of a grunge aesthetic, so i ALWAYS have worn silver. but i just know the minute i put on gold i’ll look back at the days of silver still. maybe i’ll test out gold again one day.

As a jeweler silver is cheaper if you are getting actual silver but if you go for cheaper stuff silver colored pieces are less likely to be plated in a totally different color, so if it does fade it will still be silvery.
