update: i didn’t not get fired 🙏 everyone thought i was a senior so she was just asking because they didn’t know my grad year and she was making sure i was coming back or if i was doing something else for work

currently i’m a lead (the highest you can go since it’s an on campus job) and my boss said something along the lines of “since you’re not graduating this year, would you be interested in doing something else?”. innocent in itself, but she fired someone last year using the same line as like a gentle let down before the firing. i can’t think of anything i did wrong besides i’m super awkward at staff meetings so i may just be overthinking
