Then they are in the comments like “everyone here is giving excuses for why they don’t practice basic hygiene” When the ‘excuses’ are also “no one taught me how to properly take care of myself so I didn’t know this” or acting edgy like “idgaf lol” But- “Child neglect isn’t a joke and we should-“ mhm.

i use the “excuse” that i wasn’t taught something and i was verbally attacked for not knowing. with periods, i had no clue pads should be changed every 3-4 hours bc my mom only bought me nighttime bladder pads which said up to 12 hour relief, so i assumed that meant i could wear it for 12 hours at a time

instead of those who knew educating me properly, they made me feel so little and idiotic. mind you, these ppl have so many older sisters. i only have my mom, who also wasn’t educated on how to care for herself, bc my mom believed the same thing i did. we were called filthy, sick, all kinds of things 😭
