yeah okay, this one is just like worse than the other ones, like ik anime gives girls big bitties but this one showed like a full frontal of the girl naked. I told him it upset me and he didn’t understand why at first but he said he wouldn’t watch anime’s like that. He said the last time he saw an anime this bad was when he first started watching them. Bc i’ve seen his crunchy roll history and it’s all like either cheesy rom coms or male centered action like the one we’re watching Tokyo ghoul.
yeah definitely, no he sent me the tiktok and he started watching it by himself and i was like oh whatcha watchin and he restarted from the first episode so i could watch it with him because he had already watch the first 2 episodes. I honestly don’t think he really thought about it because he kept seeing funny moment clips on tiktok, and he genuinely was laughing at it so i think he just thought it was funny but.
Anime and male-centered fan service (aka over-sexualized women) go hand in hand and is something you have to go out of your way to avoid, leaving you very little media to consume. You honestly just become desensitized to it. So yeah, unless he’s literally just watching ecchi, lolicon, and/or hentai, getting mad at him for it is misplaced anger. Also, Tokyo Ghoul is awesome & those “excessive” scenes play a role later on. Def keep watching
i love tokyo ghoul and it’s really not as bad, i like most of the anime’s he watches and ik that like yeah they have big bitties but it didn’t need to have full frontal nudity and all of it out. He understands that and said he wouldn’t watch it and just stick to his normal anime’s bc he usually doesn’t watch anime’s like that he just saw it on tiktok and didn’t know at the time that it was that bad.
