the way i fucking face palmed… i’m a senior and just because i always knew what i wanted to do in life, doesn’t mean i expect anyone else to. my little sister is a sophomore and she changed her major earlier this year… i don’t expect people who are 18 to know what their plans are either????

i knew what i wanted by age 12, but i don’t expect EVERYONE to know that especially at such a young age. it’s one thing if you were like in your 30s and not having a life plan or career goal, but 18??????? that is completely normal and acceptable.

good!! i’m glad you don’t seem to feel like you’re to blame, because you’re not. not knowing and not having a plan at your age is all a part of the experience of growing up.
