I think being overweight in the US has become so normalized bc poverty makes it harder to afford healthy foods. We also don’t have universal healthcare so people can really afford to get help if they need it. Everything is set up to prioritize monetary gains over people’s welfare. Instead of criticizing us, I wish other countries realized we’re struggling and did something to help.
