My whole family is very racist and homophobic. Like every family party we’ll just be sitting there and they have to bring up their hatred out of nowhere. I wanna move so bad, they don’t even talk to me at family parties but they’re like “family is everything. No one can move out of this town and definitely never this state” im crashing out

There’s a separation of church and state in this country. Your cousin can throw the Bible around all they want but that doesn’t change the court’s decision. Seriously that woman in Kentucky challenged the law because she got a big ass fine for denying gay couples their licenses and didn’t want to pay. She only got that fine because her religious beliefs don’t affect the law as they should.
