Saying booktok promotes too much smut is a valid criticism of the community and is not misogynistic

it is rude and disrespectful to other cultures to go into their countries and chastise them for eating dog, cat, or horse meat. I don’t think dogs, cats, and horses inherently have more value per life individually than a pig, lamb, cow, etc.

Being a man hater does not make you a feminist, and that’s actually not what feminism is about. It’s also not empowering.

I hate people who argue on the internet and use “sweetheart,” or “hon.” It’s posses me off like It gives middle school girl kid trying to sound tough in her first disagreement.

I second this as a woman who used to read a TON of smut

I also read it. And I think over consuming smut is bad. Too much of something is a bad thing. U can read smut, but sometimes it’s too much

Especially when booktokers started telling a teen boy to read “real romance” (aka smut dark romance) instead of age-appropriate YA a few years back 🙃

Hot take: Sometimes I think it’s on the same branch as a porn addiction

It is, it’s just literature instead of a film🫡

I think it def is (coming from a girl who is still actively fighting a porn addiction). Every time I quit porn, I always rebounded hard on smut. Took me forever to realize they are practically the same

I read it from time to time. Half of the time I do I’m laughing about how silly it is (I read those airport novels)

I’m sorry but the way things are these days in politics your political views are a direct reflection of your values and morals. I’m not being nice to someone who cared more about cheaper eggs than about their fellow human beings. But good on you lol that is in fact a controversial opinion

i understand seeing someone live is very cool i just don’t know why people put stuff like that on such a high pedestal (as if they’re going to die if they don’t see Taylor or something yk?)

I’m a big fan of Taylor but the biggest reason of feeling like I needed to be at a show was because it was such a huge historical tour and I had fomo. (I never went)

i feel like if it’s a historical tour or revival of a band that’s a bit different and is more important (especially revivals bc they might never come back)

well clearly you guys have a problem with what i said and it is VERY controversial and you are assuming my opinions are the lesser of the two.
