one thing i’ll never forgive my mom for is not letting me go to italy to play volleyball like i got an email after my last tournament asking me to play for them and study for college while there and like man i could be stil playing volleyball AND IN ITALY

this was in 2021 so i lowkey forgot all the details but i remember checking it all to see if it was fake and it wasn’t! i’m still mad to this day

I absolutely hate to say it but she was right 😔 unless you planned on becoming a permanent Italy resident, going there for a degree would make your life so much more difficult

it didn’t and i am unfortunately not in college anymore so my opportunities are more limited 😭 im moving soon so once i do i might look for something local

Aw dang!! I hope you do find something local!! I have a friend who plays in tournaments (not sure what capacity) and she makes good money every weekend doing it
