So we’ve all recently learned that plan b isn’t a great post-sex contraceptive because it has weight limits and only works if you aren’t ovulating. What do yall use to avoid getting pregnant? I’m talking to a guy and want to be as careful as possible
spermicide is an easy addition. even comes with applicators like tampons and doubles as lube

Those aren’t fully effective so I want something else on top of it 😭😭 I feel like layering contraceptives is the best way I’m not a pro!!

DO NOT LAYER CONDOMS WHATEVER YOU DO.
Ur best bet is BC & condoms or IUD but that’s not popular

What’s not popular and why?

I am a big fan of the Nexplanon implant + condoms!

I might be getting ahead of myself but I’m gonna look into something semi-permanent like an implant. I’m talking to one guy and he’s the only one I’ve been interested in but still

Yesssss the Nexplanon one is the implant that goes in ur arm and it lasts 5 years but you can get it removed anytime u want

Can you feel it really easily?

Adding to this I tried to get the IUD but it hurt like a mf and also only can be implanted if you’re on your cycle so timing that was difficult for me since I’m irregular

I was wondering if there was any official ones. I’ve heard of neem oil but idk Google advises against it

I don’t feel it in my arm day to day movements, but if you want to touch it you can feel it in your arm

Defffff you will feel it if they try something like this, you would literally need an incision to get it out so I wouldn’t worry too too much about it getting removed by someone who’s not a medical professional
